St.Catherene's Forane Church, Puyyampally

Across the river (tributary of Kabini) is Kuruva Dweep (Island).
This uninhabited river delta, is densely wooded and is home to rare species of birds, orchids, herbs etc.

Kuruva island is 17 KMs east of Manathavady and 10 KMs north west of Pulpally

When an old tree fell, this tomb, of Pazhassi Raja, was discovered

She is all smiles. Checking out from Saptha, a beautiful property in S Battery

This strange structure at Saptha is the accommodation for drivers.
